The United States is the leading Christian country in the world with 7 out of 10 Americans believing in God, according to a 2014 Gallup poll.

IN GOD WE TRUST PROJECT is an exploration of American society through the religious prism. I dedicated a little more than four years to realize this long-term photographic project.

In this report I am interested in the way in which the religious offer (exclusively of Protestant obedience: more than 70% of American believers) reinvents itself by following the evolutions of liberalism. It targets with acuity the different segments of the American society by using strategies borrowed from the techniques of market conquest, in order to optimize the process of evangelization.

This report presents a certain number of groups or niches with original and sometimes unusual specificities that are targeted by the churches.
